Here we are again, getting everything ready for another folk festival. It is a wonderful way to make outsider art, with the cloak of folk on. The goal is to capture a sense of humour and whimsy, like chasing a beautiful butterfly to trap for yoyr collection. Good folk art should be as light as a warm summer breeze and as my old pal Tom used to say, "it should reach out its hand, smile and say" hi, how are you?"
This Sunday the new Mars explorer will be landing on the planet at the same time of the festival, makes sense.
