This is # 28 in the middle of my 50 year series celebrating the growth of the city of Halifax and the development of my painterly skills.
Why 50 years? I started painting Halifax when I was studying at NSCAD in 1985 and have not stopped since. My goal is to continue to paint the changing face of the city until I am 75 years old and then celebrate with a grand retrospective at the AGNS. (if I make it that far, god willin). This is what an artists life should be about, leaving behind a historical record of a time and place that the artist calls home and so future generations can see what changes happened in my city and my life.
